Annie Braddock is a new college graduate and struggles to know who she is and what her place here in the world. It is a story of Annie that just been fired from her job and at the same time abandoned by her boyfriend, and ends up selling cosmetics at Manhattan. By an accident, she is mistaken to be applying for the job of a nanny to three children of Maxwell Sheffield, a rich widowed English Broadway Producer and get hired on a purpose. The naive Annie endures all the commands of Mrs. X while avoiding the strolling – vagabond Mr. X. Annie becomes so attached to the children, Maggie, Brighton and Grace and she also becomes a great friend with the butler, Niles.


Mr. X had been occupied by his business while Mrs. X loves shopping and no one of them really likes to spend time with their kids. Annie quickly learns that she has more than hands full taking care of them. Mrs. X fires her last nanny because she was dating and that is Annie's problem when Harvard Hottie that lives in the same building ask her out on a date.
